General Questions
Don’t worry! If you aren’t sure where you’d like the session to take place, I will recommend multiple options for your session depending on the type of session, your location, etc.
This is one of the most common questions clients ask! When you are getting your family ready for photos, choose outfits that compliment each other. Don’t be afraid to mix in some patterns – they can help visually break up the group! If you have more questions, shoot me a quick email.
Life happens! If the session is threatened by weather, illness, an act of God, or similar emergency, we’ll do our best to reschedule for a time that works for you and I.
The session fee includes the quoted hour(s) of photography along with all of the time and talent required to produce a cohesive gallery. That includes culling, editing and touch ups, and gallery curation.
Working Together
When you book a session, a retainer fee totaling 50% of the session price is due to reserve your spot. As I will decline any other business once your session is booked, this retainer fee is nonrefundable. The remainder of the session fee is due on the day of the session.
As a Lifestyle Photographer, most of my portrait sessions take place outdoors. I do not work from a studio. If you are interested in boudoir photography, these sessions can either take place in your home, at a hotel room booked by you, or in another space you have arranged for. Contact Kimber directly to discuss boudoir or other indoor photography.
As a natural light Photographer, I do not shoot with flash most of the time. Exceptions include indoor, low-light scenarios like wedding receptions.
For most projects, images will be delivered to you within 30 days. You will receive a more specific estimate when you finalize your session details.
High resolution images are delivered to you via an online gallery.
Upon delivery, you’ll have full print release to purchase prints at the lab of your choice. You also have the option to order prints, canvases, and more directly from your gallery, but are under no obligation to do so.
Your gallery will be curated to provide the most cohesive and satisfactory experience. KBP reserves sole discretion to select which images are delivered to the client.
Minor edits are made to enhance the images from your session. I do not perform any heavy edits in Photoshop like changing physical size or characteristics like hair or replacing, removing, or adding individuals not present at your session. After delivery, the Client may request minor retouching (e.g., cropping, small blemish removal) to photos. Larger changes or changes that are outside of the my typical editing style will incur an additional fee at my discretion.
